Christmas time is the best time to utilize some the great backdrops that occur naturally such as the Christmas tree lights! Nothing adds a little glamor to a photo than twinkling lights in the backdrop.
This is relatively easy to achieve by shooting wide open (f 3-4 if you using a 85-100mm). Although slightly noisy, it’s still my preference to shoot with the highest ISO possible which was 2500 for this photo.
